The first day of the PROMISE consortium workshop featured discussions on the importance of evidence-based decision-making and investments in WASH.

The sessions served to reiterate the workshop’s key objectives: building the capacity of stakeholders, institutionalizing the use of evidence in public policy, and translating research into concrete action.
A presentation of tools such as WASH FIT, SaniPath, and Compass also illustrated practical approaches to improving sanitation and health systems.

PACE actively participated in the discussions, contributing to the conversation on using data to create more effective public policies.
