The second day of the PROMISE consortium workshop featured fruitful discussions on research findings and decision-support tools for WASH.

PACE actively contributed to these discussions by leading a session on research findings, moderated by Dr. Mbaye, PACE’s Research Director. This session featured presentations from Ghana and Bangladesh on the SaniPath tool.

Discussions continued with a session dedicated to the Compass and SaniPath tools, with feedback shared by several countries, including Zambia, Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda.

The day concluded with a field visit to a health facility on the outskirts of Kampala that has implemented the WASH FIT tool, providing a concrete illustration of the impact of evidence-based approaches.
