As part of the activities of the Groupe Interinstitutionnel de Concertation et de Coordination (GICC) on geomatics, the Pan African Consortium of Experts (PACE) participated in a strategic meeting held on March 18, 2026, at the headquarters of Sénégal Numérique S.A. (SENUM).
This meeting marked an important milestone with the formalization of a partnership (MoU) between several stakeholders, including PACE, as part of the GeoInnov initiative, aimed at supporting the Innovation Hub.
This partnership aims to develop a high-performing geospatial ecosystem in Senegal by supporting technological innovation based on digital data, assisting project leaders, and strengthening local expertise.
It also aims to facilitate access to resources and innovation networks, position the country as a regional hub in this field, co-create high-value services for public and private stakeholders, while contributing to national digital sovereignty.
This collaborative effort reinforces initiatives to improve data governance and utilization in support of Senegal’s economic and social development.
