PACE’s intervention strategy favors a holistic and multidisciplinary approach throughout the entire value chain of its interventions.
Context
The world is experiencing a meteoric rise of artificial intelligence (AI). The computing power currently available to large organizations such as Google, Amazon, and Microsoft has significantly facilitated AI’s rise to the forefront. The development of AI applications and their deployment in the market demonstrate the growing interest in these intelligent solutions. However, data is the fuel of all AI technology. It is used to train these intelligent systems to perform the various tasks for which they are dedicated. It is therefore necessary to have suitable infrastructure and talent to maximize the value of these enormous amounts of data to improve decision-making.
It is in this context that the Pan African Consortium of Experts (PACE) is seeking to recruit a computer scientist to strengthen the team responsible for information systems development, data engineering, and AI. Through this division, PACE intends to further contribute to the democratization of data and the promotion of data science and AI. We intend to contribute to the implementation of national data and AI strategies through the short-term establishment of an agile sectoral data platform accessible to everyone, but also through the development of a framework for exchange and sharing of experiences around AI Data Science.
