
We are thrilled to welcome Imani Allen to PACE for an internship. Her presence reflects our ongoing commitment to nurturing future change makers through collaboration and shared learning. At PACE, Imani will be working on a project aimed at improving WASH services in healthcare facilities: Application of the WASH-Fit tool in the municipality of Diamaguène Sicap Mbao, Senegal.
Imani Allen is a Master of Public Health candidate at Emory University with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. She is passionate about merging her scientific background with her public health education to address health disparities and improve healthcare access.
Imani’s work is rooted in her desire to bridge gaps in underserved communities through advocacy, education, and policy reform. She is committed to leveraging her interdisciplinary education to create innovative solutions that connect science and public health practice.
In addition to her academic pursuits, Imani has a strong commitment to community engagement, demonstrated by her volunteer work and active participation in initiatives aimed at empowering marginalized groups. Outside of public health, she enjoys creative outlets like crocheting and staying active.
Imani’s drive to make a meaningful impact fuels her efforts to become a leading voice in public health, striving for a future where everyone has access to quality care and resources.
