For some, sanitation is a matter of human dignity. Several political commitments have been made to ensure this human dignity: we can cite the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), since 2015, which aim to “guarantee access to water and sanitation for all and ensure sustainable management of water resources,” and to which Senegal has committed.
